Seth Oyer is a public relations and marketing professional with over a decade of experience in the technology and professional industries. Dr. Oyer is not simply an accomplished practitioner; he is also an accomplished researcher in the subjects of public relations and persuasion and has been published in national journals and spoken at national conventions on the subjects.

Dr. Oyer received his Ph.D. in mass communication from the University of Florida, specializing in public relations crisis management. He also holds his M.A. in mass communication (public relations/persuasion concentration) from the University of Central Florida as well as his B.S. in communications and B.A. in English from the State University of New York College at Fredonia.
